Those wonderful people at The Planet radio station, 94.3 on your dial, are doing a Feed the Planet promotional for the second year in a row.  Once again, the event will be in the Wal Mart Washington parking lot, with the radio station broadcasting from 6 AM to 10 PM from that location for the week of November 3rd through 8th.  LaRae will be our host for lunch also, with several restaurants donating lunch for Dixie Care and Share.  Lunch will cost us lucky folks $5 each day, all of the proceeds going to Dixie Care and Share.  The schedule calls for lunch to go from 11:30 to 1:30 and it will be provided by the following:

• Monday:  Ruby River Steakhouse
• Tuesday:  Opportunity??
• Wednesday:  Opportunity??
• Thursday:  Famous Dave’s Barbeque
• Friday:  Ruby River Steakhouse
• Saturday:  Domino’s Pizza

(Can you see we have a couple of opportunities left for our volunteer restaurants?)  At any rate, $5 for one of these lunches…great stuff!  The other part of the Feed the Planet story is the wonderful giveaways the Canyon Media has arranged.  I hear a couple of the drawings from the donor list will be: 

• Monday Ashley Furniture is giving a $500 gift certificate to a lucky donor
• Friday Stout Furniture is giving a $500 gift certificate to a lucky donor
• Saturday Wal Mart is giving a $1000 gift card to a lucky donor
• Saturn of St. George is rumored to have a neat little package available to a lucky donor.
